The brackets are part (SNW) $185. Sorry about the formatting. 1958-71 Dodge 3/4 ton Pickup w/2800lb axle Front Disc brake conversion 1. Crack front wheel nuts loose, chock up rear wheels.

WebAug 18, 2024 · I just installed the Scarebird brake system on my 1949 Super Six. I already have the Faust setup on my 1948 Commodore. The only problem I had was finding the recommended left caliper for a 1990 Chevy Celebrity. The calipers fit better on the Scarebird as it wasn't necessary to grind the top of the calipers down in order for the wheel to fit. http://corvaircenter.com/phorum/read.php?1,719828,720118

Now if you want a Scarebird kit to convert your P15 to disc brakes only the ECONOMY kit (DGE 30) is available. The main thing here is that you don't get those nice aluminum hubs. You must reuse the hubs from your brake drums. First photo shows grinding the heads off the rivets that hold the hub to the drum. جى سترينجWebAug 4, 2024 · The next steps are all easy bolt on stuff. The Scarebird adapter plates replace the original drum backing plates, and fit great. The calipers are off a 1990 Chevy Celebrity, and rotors are rears for a 91-92' Lincoln Continental Mk 7.
