Web21 Dec 2009 · I do this for a living. If you replace your radiator keep it in the loop. However make sure the fluid passes through the radiator first then through the cooler. If its a stock radiator 9 times outta 10 its clogging up and has less cooler flow and more chances to stop up completely, then you bypass it completely. I've successfully run an in-line oil cooler with a remote filter mount in the past. It's not a bad way to do things.
