The kat's overall tone however is more real (as in tube) sounding. But i dislike the TYE of tone and much prefer the gT's. WitrynaThe Katana would be a lot less costly, and more versatile. Tube amps also require more maintenance, such as swapping out the tubes every once in a while which can be expensive. I do not believe that the katana will sound better than a tube amp but that is just my opinion. If I were you, I would go with the katana!
