Terriffic film. Particularly avoids the old “the Nazis were just monsters” clichés that disconnect us from the horrors that happened there and comfort us with the idea that “it couldn’t happen here”.

One bad point – Kate Winslett’s “old” makeup, which was crappy, unconvincing, and particularly unexpected in the context of the other top-flight photography.
